TECHNICAL SERVICES CAPABILITIES
The division offers a wide range of experience
and skill in the handling of all types of documentation in various
media for a wide variety of equipment and systems, ranging from
entire ship and submarine weapon systems to operating manuals
for Army vehicles. These skills are further supported by
an engineering base within the division for design, and elsewhere
within the company for manufacturing. IT facilities are
maintained to current modern standards and include software tools
for the prosecution of SGML protocols and ILS data base construction
and usage. These capabilities are currently being exploited
in contracts across a wide spectrum of in service support activities.
The division also possesses experience
in project management of technical publications, underwater weapons
and other projects. This includes working with an international
range of defence customers including the US, Indian and Thai Navies,
the Korean Defence Forces, the US DoD and management consultancy
in large civil engineering projects.
Apart from defence related publications,
the division’s authors have also produced documentation for
steel mill monitoring equipment and hydro-carbon molecular monitors
for refineries and chemical installations.
