<p>Universal Engineering’s two manufacturing divisions have no trading boundaries and operate under two names only for historical reasons. Although each division has its own factory, they are positioned adjacent to each other and as with all four of our divisions, have the same systems and operational structure.</p>
<p>We have a valuable blend of expert industrial knowledge, with prototype and batch production, and experience in manufacturing for performance and safety critical applications, such as aerospace, defence, power generation, specialist vehicles and trailers, mineral and oil exploration, and telecommunications.</p>
<p>Providing integrated logistical support to many customers and all of the Universal divisions, Technical Services and project management, has a varied role from the preparation of simple documentation and document scanning to the project management and creation of complex manuals.</p>
<p>Line Scan - our total document project management solution also provides a stand-alone service to many customers outside the engineering industry who require data or document scanning and storage. All types of documents are handled from hand written notes and typewritten records to catalogues, working drawings and maps. Film and digital archiving is undertaken including microfiche, aperture cards, microfilm and removable media such as CD or DVD.</p>
